Any of these "Depth Solutions" could be good to base a style on. It really just depends on the look you are going for. Do you want a flatter design? deeper design? Realistic, Stylized or Forced Perspective? etc.

Ah bugger! After looking at it again I had to adjust his left arm in terms of proportions - gave it a little more volume to match the perspective since it's technically (biceps part) suppose to be larger than his right that's moving away from the camera!

Everytime its a cool camera angle I want, I rely on 3d camera to get it. Srsly I can dink around in 3d with the f-stop and lenses to get exactly the shot in my head, its great! Takes longer but definitely pays off to get some otherwise hard perspective. Work smarter not harder :P
