Hiya folks!
Tonight Plein-air sketch. I had some fun with the graphic shapes. I did a few post-processing styles in PS but still not sure which one I fancy more😄

Subdued tones are often the hardest to make look good, since you have to put in much more nuance to make them work, everything needs to be carefully arranged. Not sure how will it worked though, always learning. Done in

Since I’m now surrounded by snowy mountains in my new hometown I guess learning to paint snow and rock is a must. I’m still in love with bright blue shadows. Painted in

Waves and water are so difficult. Originally wasn’t very happy with this one (and it was so difficult to paint), but I like how it holds up when viewed from a distance/zoomed out!

I tried out for the first time, for day 11 of 🌊
It’s taking a while to work out what I’m doing, but I’m excited to spend some more time learning the app!
This is based on a photo I took hiking at Malibu a few years ago.

These two really make me want to travel again. I miss visiting beautiful architecture as much as just spending time in a cabin somewhere - just seeing the world beyond my own four walls. Hopefully I’ll get the chance soon. Painted in
