Sealing Mermay with something a little different I typically veer away from “high fantasy” renditions of mythical creatures. But figured why not. This is a semi faithful rendition of a Medieval depiction of mermaids/sirens.

I was modeling a stylized giraffe in zbrush and suddenly realized that my brain is not set up to pull stylized CG stuff out of thin air. Realistic, maybe.
At least now I can move forward a little better.
