Here's my turtle cartoon character Chester that I created decades ago as a kid.

His look was absolutely NOT inspired by any other character that I may have been reading in the newspaper comic section at the time.

And, definitely not inspired by any cats, orange or otherwise.

Thanks! Very mixed year. On positive side, painting for my visual novel was good and my digital rendering improved greatly. Got a stop motion commission too, that was fun. Also did art dept graphic work for Showtime series First Ladies, recreating old newspapers and whatnot.
