I painted @judahandthelion’s song “Over My Head” because I love it and everyone should listen to it.
(explanation just in case @judahandthelion sees this - I have synesthesia and see colors and shapes when I hear sounds)
Since I finished painting the One Direction discography last night, I'm gonna have a (not so) little thread of the songs as I see them because of synesthesia. I think we'll go in order by album/tracklist, so let's start with "What Makes You Beautiful!"

A thread; my painting around 2018 until now. 🤗☘️

Some of what I see with my synesthesia used to illustrate what we have going on in our heads vs the image we present when we connect with other.

If I could turn emotions into drawings, this would be a picture that represent my current mood.

I'm gonna start a collection of drawings to show you the colours I see on music. I actually thought that it was normal until a few months ago and it's surprising on the amount of people that have little to no knowledge about Synesthesia.

#inktober2018 day 02
- Flutes -
Strangely music makes me want to do art more than art itself does. So I’ve decided to theme my inktober around it.
At first I’ll try to viasually represent how some instruments sound, on kind of a reverse synesthesia. This is my take on flutes :)
Artist Melissa McCracken has a neurological condition called #Synesthesia, which causes her sense of hearing to trigger colorful depictions of songs and genres... #jazz music appears as iridescent blues, whites, and golds, while an upbeat pop song is bright pink and purple.
This is Melissa McCracken's painting. She has Synesthesia, when a person hear sounds and it is translated into a flow of texture and colors. here's her work based on lagu yg dia dengar.
David Bowie – Life On Mars?
Radiohead – Lucky
John Lenon – Imagine
John Mayer – Gravity
i have synesthesia so i feel everything in color. here's how i see some emotions (1/2)

I had the pleasure of being part of the @lightgreyartlab Synesthesia show (Thank you @rmayani!) A show that explores memory through the senses.
The smell of seaweed takes me back to a VERY foggy day at the beach...
My pieces “August something 1998”
Heeey! I had the awesome honor of being apart of @lightgreyartlab in Minneapolis. Thank you @rmayani for inviting me to be apart of this wonderful show.
Please check out Synesthesia.

This is part of a diptych I did for a show I’m curating with @lightgreyartlab called Synesthesia, about the blending of senses, smells, feelings and experiences.
There are so many amazing artists in this show, can’t wait to see what they all created.
Opens today!!
