This is the piece that made me fall in love with painting stone textures (I know, sounds boring), and the first painting I made with gouache. The original was varnished and now hangs in my studio :)

Used a ton of different brushes to help polish this Hammond off!

Dense for blocking and emphasis, PnA for the airbrushy areas, WCB for the furry textures that flow off the lines, Smooth for the darker colouring blends, and Opaque for hairline highlights.

I love how it came out!

This preserves the "purity" of the style since there are no textures involved and it is pure geometry. This is one of the rules that the game's style follows. No textures can be used to draw things. It's inspired by games like A-10 and Flanker 1.0.
