The portrait style has slightly more realistic facial proportions, more detailed coloring/ value, more soft shading, and painted hair (than my norm style)

What are things about my art that I should work on more/get better at? I know some of my weak spots are noses, shading in general, proportions (?) and the chin area.

Here's a WIP step and how it looks like on the card <3 The WIP step shows the basic setup for the piece, figuring out where the light areas and shadows will be. You can also spot some helplines to get the facial proportions! Looks quite messy, but a helpful step.

long neck boy thought if he got jacked then his neck would look proportionate. it didnt really work but hes still heaps stoked over his big muscles and hes more confident now :)
