Outlines are never needed if you just imply shapes and lines. Also halftone shading is super aesthetic.
rigged and weight painted snuppy and gave him a dynamic outline (ignore the little lines around the eyes, that's just part of the wirefame since rendered view is super crusty). far from perfect and only good for posing, not animating-- still a fun challenge!!
I've never drawn without black outlines before, so I decided to give it a try! … Not sure how I feel about them yet! #zombielandsaga #SakiNikaido

Is he angel or demon? John may work for the side of the angels, but that doesn't mean he always has to be one ;) When I'm next able to, I'm hoping to get this as a tattoo :3 Not sure if it'd be just outline or coloured yet though...

working on understanding different blender techniques in the meantime.... doing a test false outline on a half-finished snuppy. it only works in 'texture' view, and idrk if that's like, working as intended or if i fucked up BUT it kinda works?
such sad.
Tried some art without black outlines, definitely not disappointed:) #art #digitalart #sad #drawing
Got some more Outlined Gachapons!!
First drawing in the 2010 style since October. I really like this one, and the classic style is pretty fun, and nicer to draw, since there's no coloured outlines.
Baked maps for Jiro. The outline effect was achieved by duplicating the mesh, inverting normals and applying an unlit material. A technique I learned from Frederic Arsenault -https://t.co/R0KRduBzBX and I think it looks awesome :D I'm excited to start painting! #gameart
Here's an outline coloured version if you’re interested
I really like flat colors because you can see the outline better and it pops, or its probably the colors i used🤔either way, have a drawing

Experimented a bit with different outline colors, I think it turned out alright.
Finally got around to re-designing my Luvbi gijinka! Ik it's messy but I can't be bothered to outline anything rn
This just in, u/danibeann on Reddit (danisartwork on Instagram) does some of the coolest Pokémon art I’ve ever seen. The crispness with the white outline looks so good!
