Even when I would cel-shade, it would never be enough, I tend to add textures, grain, noise, and even shift the the hues to make a piece more interesting. After figuring out my values, I'll make little "rules" for myself to follow and use them for my painting process.

i can confirm that in at least Spyro's textures for ANB he does have beans! I don't have Cynder's textures from TEN but i have seen it before and I do believe she's got them!

The Sonic IDW comics kick ass but I do miss all the fuckin wild deep cut characters the post-Penders archie comics had and how they were recontextualized to fit in the "modern" universe
I'm positive that the comics are like 90% of the reason Bean, Bark, and Fang were ever popular

it's real. xD model has a different textured ver. glued them all so the new layers can sure follow whatever change i apply directly to their dominant mesh. (e.g. mouth, eyes) tho its kinda getting normal on my rigs lately because of limbs and masks(e.g zen)

I’m revisiting a lot of my older paintings, because I wasn’t happy with the older scans and the light that reflected on the textured paper and canvas.
It’s been really fun and freeing to work like I did in acrylics, but to just have that totally stripped down super flat look. WIP
