Update on Her 👁👁

She's a Repitonian street performer! Swallowing swords, bending in ridiculous shapes, playing with fire, walking on glass, holding a cup of water, you name the dangerous act and she does it
Her survival ability is extreme flexibility

I wanted to play with sharp shapes, silhouettes and perspective. I think I did quite well! :) I like them a lot

For those who asked- some WIPs from the last 2 Pieces. My goal with these was to better control my composition by having most of the painting done in 3-4 layers: Effects, shadows, highlights, and midtones. I drew on top of these layers to find my shapes, then adjusted accordingly

Jessica drew spider-woman character sheet, i have a ton of these stashed away, the entire idea behind these is to practice shapes, colour, perspective and character creation

There are many different kinds of mecha, some quite organic in their shapes, both literally and figuratively.

Draw a Football in Adobe Illustrator

No worries the pen tool isn't much used in here. It's mainly basic shapes, the Shape Builder Tool, the Curvature Tool, and the Pathfinder options. The details at the end make it shine. https://t.co/1aOizISVsU

This drawing speaks to me of silence, comfort and peace. I like a lot of plants, their interweaving, shapes, colors. And a peaceful person in the center. This is something calm.

Another reason is I usually put the most effort(?) into expressions. with bodies and movements you can get away with cheating a lot of the time with simple shapes, forms, etc, whereas super small changes in the expression can make a world of difference

it's special because you make it. there's no right or wrong way to make art. most of my junk is just basic shapes, but I still enjoy making it. experiment with style if that's what you want to do, but don't feel like you have to
