The plus side of staying up late is you can have some quiet time to practice with other software. This is my first stab at using for anything other than just scribbling. This little spot started as a doodle and just kept going.

I’m bad at explaining things so sorry if this isn’t very clear or helpful, first I just drew all of it, put all of the individual frames into Premiere Pro (though any video editing software should be fine) and uh just let them move down the screen.

Not sure how to answer to 'how'. If I were to put it into words, -- I add in some details to the texture (left photo) then handpaint it in an external software (to create the finished, Hytale painterly look you see on official models (right photo)
