Of the five, and I am biased, I think Shining Armor turned out the best of them.

Big thanks to for commissioning this piece.

We have one more post of WiPs left!

Commission for , his Scion Sharaf, apparently with 's Aestra. Some would call that revenge for one of the previous commissions BUT as long as you're having fun... well. XD

The background part of this piece took relatively short compared to everything else, but it still took a bit.

That's a drop pod behind the Space Marines Pones.

What's your favourite quote? Stumbled across this one earlier.

"𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒐𝒓𝒖𝒔' 𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔..."

I believe that's what's the yoofs call a "big mood".

And that's the sketch!

I will be sharing the other steps in separate threads. Feel free to check them out, and as always ReTweets and likes are always appreciated.

I left Shining Armor last maybe out of self-indulgence. I saw it as my reward for sketching the other guys first.

Ponies holding guns will always look weird to me.

Troubleshoes wasn't that much trouble, but he's so big that it took a while to figure out his place in the piece.

Sombra's crystal design for his armour sure changed.

The early doodles made him look like a peacock lol

If you could choose one 40k lore secret to be revealed to you, what would you choose? (Aka tell me your favourite secretive lore tidbits.)

I'm Zliva and in past few months I did a lot of 40k related stuff. I like bright colors and dramatic shots💙
Don't have any specific challenges, but I'm trying to better learn forms, colors and composition
