One nothing I noticed about the new Mario Strikers' artwork is that some of it seems very reminiscent of the artwork found in the first game. From the positioning, action, lighting, posing, you name it.

Daily art update #25: Fixed up some coloring + shading, added lighting, and I'd say this is about done. Finishing up early for the weekend but once I'm back I'm taking a step back to focus on art studies, I feel that there are still a lot of basics I'm missing

The purpose of this training was to test my own understanding of the fundamentals of art(Composition, lighting, design, color and more), I believe when you make it more difficult, you will gain skill improvement.
From there I used Blender to build the focal point of the piece. This only serves as an interactive reference where I can change the perspective, lighting, and composition on the fly.

Preview ver. 2 Doing my own interpretation of ifphilo's hair colouring on that latest piece. Still have to do a lot of shading, lighting, and detail work.

@KitsuneSnowFox @AWeebish It's not about the lighting, and since they took the ffxiv design the game this art is from doesnt matter. Also i have proof that they lightened her and it has nothing to do with lighting since other characters are brown too. They should have the same skin color

Was lucky enough to go and watch #primafacieplay last Saturday night. Brilliant, captivating, moving. Jodie Comer was out of this world, owing every inch of the stage. Screenplay, music, lighting, production, all perfection. So I felt inspired to create some new art.
