The ages of the dinosaurs still rages on! Feel the earth quake under the feet of a gargantuan brontosaurus, watch the deadly allosaurses as they rampage across the land, and hear the shriek of the quetzalcoatlus overhead.

Two pterosaurs will appear in Jurassic World Dominion, Quetzalcoatlus (left) and Pteranodon (right). Here are my reconstructions of both, based on current hypotheses of their probable appearance in life, so you can compare them with the versions in the movie

Here’s Dearc compared with , which is of course the biggest of all pterosaurs.

I think this warrants the use of the new hashtag . I was overjoyed to see this absolute unit in the trailer. Quetz was one of the animals I wanted to see the most in a Jurassic film, and the way they portrayed it was just perfect.

I think the prologue might have foreshadowed stuff in the trailer.

-The plane attack from Quetzalcoatlus and Pteranodon
-A group of Nasutoceratops charging at vehicles
-The inevitable fight between the T-Rex and Giganotosaurus

Think about it for a moment

I'm glad that it looks like the Quetzalcoatlus in Jurassic World Dominion is being hyped as a massive threat because yea Azhdarchidae pterosaurs were the stuff of fucking nightmares

Our view of what and other were like mostly has its genesis in Witton & Naish (2008). Azhdarchids are the most distinctive and unusual of and views on how they might have lived have varied considerably (vintage images shown here!)... 1/n
