UVs are done and it's time for everyone's favorite part, TEXTURING! I'm actually going to mix it up with using resources from https://t.co/4BhRxeMrBC and using that as a base. This model's texture is bigger than the usual scope I'm used to.

Then the lightning! I used a cold color too because I wanted the drawing to look spooky and cold for real, this place is as welcoming as a brick. Same as for the shading: hard brush, blend, texturing! For the hair I just make my blender smaller and do lot of small strokes in it.

Alright, so I put together this little concept drawing for a pretty spooky Tf2 cosmetic
But the problem is I don’t know a whole lot about modeling, and know absolutely nothing about texturing!

Decided to sculpt another awesome retro character: 'Earthworm Jim'. For now; I've sculpted and posed him, and I hope to bring him into Maya for reto'ing and Substance Painter for surfacing/texturing!

Whew! Missed by a couple of days but! continues! Normal bakes are almost ready! I was able to fix nearly 90% of its issues with some bake tweaking! Gotta make his ID map and we'll be solid for

The best part about making characters is painting & texturing! Painting brings out the life of the models! I'm painting the muscle details on my Johnny Cage model. Painting skin is like knowing makeup. highlights on protruding areas, shadows in deep areas, red tones

I love it when you can get in the absolute flow of a model. 100% starting from scratch, this is how far I got today!!! Tomorrow I'll be doing the accessories, touchups, and possibly starting the real texturing!
