Isekai should focus on adventure more than gimmicks. Tell a full story with a fun MC to be around. These two stories fit the bill. They have a hero and they have villains so the plot remains focused. Plus mine is more sci-fi than the other so you get variety as well.

Yeah competitively I could see how it was a problem but I think thats just gen gimmicks as a whole 🥲 The idea of letting the dev team take a whack at older mon designs was so fun and led to some of my favorite pokemon designs ever, as well as giving old mon a chance to be viable
