I feel like there’s a story to be told . She’s one of the few Morlock to X-men riches story. So I painted her having fun in the giant forest below her base in daylight. Which I research in northern part of Nyc and old sentinel factory.

There are some very serious themes explored in current TMNT books and as rough as things seem to be getting for the main cast, this book may have just introduced its own version of Morlocks.

Loving TMNT right now.

Sarah (Rushman?) is a mutant w/ power to shape her bones into constructs of various shapes & sizes (including spikes, blades & armor); as she's a long-time member of the & at times, she has aided villains, as well as & the heroes of the

The character of Caliban (the first Morlock) is named as an allusion to Shakespeare’s “The Tempest,” and the connections to that play create some intriguing intersections that can then be extrapolated to the broader X-Men/Morlock hierarchy. 1/7

Update on the RPG: For pandemic reasons, our new campaign went digital! It's been really fun to bring Hoenn to life in Roll20 with art assets from the main games. Here's Littleroot + Route 101-102. The buildings in Littleroot are created by artist MorlockHater. https://t.co/8Wu45HrV8i

I never considered Sarah to be a true villain. She, like many x-men from banshee to rouge, were all previous antagonists of the x-men that joined. I just wanted to finish off a "capcom" set of mutants and marrow and it would be the last one I needed.#capcom

At first I hated Romita Jr ( I started reading X-men during the Morlocks saga) but then It became my favorite X-men run ever, the punk X-men were amazing and in my opinion as graphic designer and illustrator this more stylized style is everything!

Claremont uses the Morlocks to create a mutant class hierarchy, thus allowing X-Men an opportunity to speak to issues of class, privilege, and visibility in a way that the traditional superhero narrative (with its casual portrayals of wealth) often avoid. 1/6

Am I the only one who gets the feeling that Greycrow covered the Morlocks here because he knows he deserved to be attacked by them?

They went after him, not the other way around.

Could have read this wrong though 🤔

Erk, been spending too much time on SoulCalibur....Six.

Anyways, sketch of something to give the Morlocks a hard time, with elements from the 1960 & 2002 movie versions.
