So Boris Johnson has forced Govt. schools to re-open today.
When do posh schools like Eton & Harrow open then? Not until Sept... at least? 🤔

When I’m not creating client work, I am creating personal work in traditional media that explores and alchemizes Nigerian and afro-diasporic deities, orishas, and sacred traditions. They are the centerpiece of my patreon at https://t.co/FcklZf5bIv

My depiction of Yoruba Orishas done for a project.
My Summer has been not as relaxing as I hoped, and hopefully I can get back to consistently making art.

Hello??? Is this Fly???

Also I'm not sure about everyone else, but if you notice a lot of the traditions are similar among Cuba, DR and PR, namely Santeria which worships the Orishas. Where does this practice come from? Yorubaland, which is part of Nigeria.

Not only that but the use of Nigerian Orishas is hitting me in my spirit.
I've been doing alot of illustrations and paintings inspired by Orishas and Odinani, so reading 's takes on them is so inspiring.

I also have to celebrate
Alot of my work draws from my Nigerian identity by reclaiming sacred Orishas & Odinani. Or sometimes I just want to draw spirits inspired by yams & kola nut.

Check out some of these paintings & feel free to like & RT
