New pseudo-3D perspective effect in Yoink! Strongly inspired by the SNES's background effect, it also establishes a nice framework for doing other funky scanline-based raster effects in the future.

so if you move sprites while the neo geo is rendering scanlines, you can create some interesting effects

the NES has a feature where you can tint the whole screen by combining emphasis bits R, G and B. If you time the rendering of the scanline, you can make this happen in horizontal bands, making the gradient beneath it seem more colorful

Experimenting with a new brush which gives a sort of noise+scanline effect. Not sure what I'll use it for yet, but it's fun to play around with!

One thing I love about the Amiga is that its games are instantly identifiable by the gorgeous Coppershade Sky effects.

"Copper" is short for Co-Processor, and the effect is done by changing the colour value at a certain scanline via registers in the Copper.

Close up for COOL SCANLINES action! Tried to make it look like when old comics don't print the lines correctly with the solid colour fill. I love that look for some reason haha, even if an error.

SMS SotB, version with smaller sprites, which frees up memory for more movement types. Parallax is kind of ambitious and effect-seeking. Instead having height differences could sometimes allow more enemies on screen due to the sprites per scanline limitation (8, and 64 total).
