The legends arceus brainrot is real and I wanted to experiment with some shapes and stylization :>

I'm about half way through on and did a quick painting of her to force myself out of having some art block. Decided to experiment with colors and stylization and while I'm not 100% happy with it, it's always fun to try something new.

I wanted to low-key practice my stylization and shape language so here's a redraw. 2 years and 1 month between

i draw them like partway between toony and canon but only because i like to draw fun expressions and when i draw the line thru the teeth it looks weird but. yea i try to stay ffffaaaiirly canon accurate other than some minor stylization :'D https://t.co/rA4hSwivWU

NO. JUST, No.

I will take a melon baller to their skulls & scoop them out a separate eye socket.

I know the 'Smufs' had that inconsistently through their designs & it irrationally irked me. In comics theres plenty that do that stylization like UKs Dennis The Menace & Heathcliff https://t.co/HonBbAA96V

I drew version of Donnie!! I really liked the design and general stylization of him so I just had to draw it!

V6 FULL BODY!! ⚡️

Say hello to Otterside my new and first fursona!

I still may make some tweaks here or there but overall I’m very satisfied with my work! I mean LOOK AT THOSE BEANS!

An otter/canine hybrid, i look forward to creating a few more stylizations and a board ⚡️

I feel like I’ve improved a lot this year with confidence and stylization thanks to art school!! Cant wait to see where 2023 takes me :P https://t.co/5GIzrOUYBM

I continue to make gifts to the answerers from the ask, trying to adjust my style to the headcanons
(it still turns out quite peculiarly because, you know, with stylization in semi realism ....)

when someone pushes their stylization too much and ends up just being a racist charicature. please stop and think for a second if you give your asian characters yellow skin and slanted eyes. pic related https://t.co/HMeqSFXwkJ

I really love your River Fashion Drawings, she looks very cute with your stylization.

As for original work, the Affection/ Caring doodle is very nice showing a more intimate time with the characters.

2. The old ones
very different stylization but I still love them

You know it's interesting the difference in the hat from the design on the logo to this partial reveal. The logo is a lot sharper. I wonder if it's just a stylization difference or like a bigger demon form difference.

Figured out a new difference of gaussians stylization technique while messing around for video examples, unfortunately already recorded audio so I can't put this in the video lol

Anyways, a grayscale quantized dog can be color palette swapped to get marker-like visuals

Study, rim light. Bringing a bit of stylization back in.

Gonna upload this to the art account once it is done. It is a redraw from an Ankha simple stylization thing from 2021

just went through my procreate files and found a few gems im not sure how i did compared to the stuff i was drawing at the time and with consideration how little time they took me, in chronological order. i really like the third one, wanna try out that kind of stylization again

You’re right and you should say it! I see everyone in the replies going “weh! It’s stylization!” … OKAY!? … stylization doesn’t JUST mean long & skinny. Frank Botero was a famous painter who stylized his figures, everyone he painted was fat. That is ALSO stylization.
