I remember being frustrated with scanning copics though so I went back to scanning pencils and finishing colors in Painter which allowed me to go for a more vibrant saturated look that helped prints stand out in the alley. Still I love this Haruhi drawing after all this time.

In 2010 I was already drawing for 5 years and my art was heavily influenced by anime.
I started drawing digitally; scanning in lined drawings and coloring them in using Gimp + my mouse. I didn't know a single thing about digital art but was really proud of what I created.

Damn, I almost forgot my third paleoart: Sinosauropteryx! This is the first paleoart I’ve done without scanning in an ink drawing and making a digital background. The digital line work was a great deal of fun, and I kinda think that it’s better than the final colored product

Ended up spending my night scanning the entirety of Kazuma Kaneko Works Volume VIII because the art is so good 🥰

The only sad thing about the Kazuma Kaneko Works books after Volume III is the lack of new pieces of Kaneko key art for each of the covers 😭
