Since Rue uses his own body for weapons and armor, he's got jack shit for ranged combat, or for taking on multiple enemies. He's best suited for 1v1 melee combat. He works really well in a team, but personality wise he's not great with people.

To capture them you use consumable crystals during combat. The less Hitpoints the monster has, the more likely you succeed to catch it!
