None of us signed up to have our images used as building blocks to create AI works. This is the ultimate expression of our intellectual properties/artistic data being stolen, then used to replace us. Devaluing our work in the process.

In the arts our contributions are constantly devalued, we're sorely underpaid for what we do. AI will exacerbate this. There are ethical, moral and legal quandaries to consider as well. Especially when you consider HOW AI are creating these images.

i lack the vocab to articulate whats goin on but: sprite sheets like this are rigged and animated in spine, but the sprites themselves are pngs. i think only walking and combat have animations, so everything else (attacks, defenses) is static images that show up with vfx

Some things to note... Perspective can get all kinds of messed up, cherry pick or use an external editor to combine images. The beauty is that with low denoise some features don't change massively so its easy to swap parts out.
