Examples of leading the eye with composition. The eye starts at the top and the shapes and negative space have your eye go down through the image and give you info as you go.
(fyi -the direction one reads text tends to guide the direction we read images)

completed one of my favorite assignments over break - distorted portraits in reflective objects. Students selected their own materials - only rule was to use black and white - and developed their own composition and style.

Compare the opening pictures of Ch.100 and 1000.

The composition is the same.
But Ch.1000 is more Gorgeous.

Maybe this means that they got closer to One Piece!!
That's so exciting and impressive illustration😆

Here’s a little piece of an AU I’m working on- the composition is a bit awkward cause there’s supposed to be another person at the bottom but I liked Joseph’s shot a lot better

I got a silly little idea to randomize an illustration of Delmar and Reed. I wrote a bunch small papers with, location, mood, light direction, Third character, composition and what they should do. And then I picked random papers.
This is the result XP

Song jacket composition practice. I hope these turned out alright. Heavily inspired by Frums's works.

Here’s the process of this Abbacchio drawing. This time I didn’t really make a sketch before working on colors (usually I would) because this composition is not that complex and I want to try something new.

Michael in an art nouveau style with composition inspired by the design of Ava Max’s “Kings and Queens” single because the cover design had big art nouveau and Michael energy

I also love drawing Pokémon. The Twitch banner size isnt large enough to draw really clean lines, so all the characters in it except Kirby were drawn and shaded separately and then placed, resized and positioned to fit the composition.
