After the base colors are laid down, I begin fleshing out some of the details, with the focus of finishing the background elements. At this stage, I look to get all of the major components realized and in place, and I begin rendering some of the larger textures and ornaments.
My whole idea on line art needing to be super refined disappeared as soon as I saw the lines in the street fighter 3 promo art. Like there’s obvious great detail in colour, rendering, anatomy, but the lines weren’t super clean
idk whether to go through the lazy route and never bother rendering these candles or accept the tedious route of rendering each and every candle in diluc's bathroom lol

Finished reading all of Summer Time Rendering Manga and holy shit the story is a Masterpiece and the ending is beautiful. Man now i really do hope they stick the landing when the anime ends.
