While I've made some strides, there's still a ways to go. Some errors (helpfully pointed out by ) include the jawline and the placement of the secondary remiges. Feathers and wings are so damn complex! I'll do better next time for sure.

I came a long way from my initial sketch based on Scott Hartman's skeletal. Note the improved position of the wing based on dromaeosaurid folding capabilities, and the ample feather coverage (still only about 75% of a lot of living birds)

For a short time, during the earliest Triassic, some parts of the world belonged to the Here for I have reconstructed the large-sized Moschorhinus. It is defending its recent kill, a Lystrosaurus, from a group of Tetracynodon

For here's 2016 of Spinolestes, an exceptionally well-known Cretaceous mammal from Spain. We know a lot about its skin and fur (except on the tail - the bushiness shown here is speculation) and also the shape of its ear pinnae, which makes me very happy.

The size and color of this crest is speculative, but I'm pretty happy with it. Perhaps the vibrance is influenced by how much carotenoids an individual consumes, as is the case w/ flamingos.

Just past the unusually blunt, peg-like teeth, the jaws curve away from each other. One fossil (the "Painten Pelican") suggests a rounded structure may have covered this gap. 2 bony crests on the head may have been joined & extended in life by soft tissue, as shown.

1st of 2019!!! Cycnorhamphus, a bizarre Late Jurassic genus from France & Germany. During this time a lot of Europe was broken into subtropical archipelagos, and Cycnorhamphus may have waded for shellfish or foraged for pinecones with its bizarre jaws.

7 year old me would be highly disappointed by the lack of dinosaurs in my art output. So here’s a dinosaur.
