Nieco brzydkie, ale bardzo naturalistyczne dziecko rzuca się w stronę czegoś na zewnątrz, trzymając się Dziewicy, której oczy, zdradzając jej lekki niepokój. Zabawne przedstawienie tematu.

Slavery was a great source of wealth to Scandinavians during the Viking Age. There are accounts of thralls being traded as far afield as Dublin and Byzantium. Norse literature contains several references to slave revolts, such as those in Egil's Saga and the Book of Settlements.

'Shy Sweetheart' ~ Gerard Dillon.
Dillon chiefly exhibited in Ireland, holding numerous solo exhibitions both in Dublin and his native Belfast. Being a self-taught artist, he was perhaps naturally drawn to a free-form expressive style in painting.
