we did sculpts based off “Madballs” in class, I chose to sculpt Skullface! Took some creative liberties in the stylization but I’m really happy with my growth in Zbrush after just a month!

Tone variant! The inspiration for this was the blown-out Xerox bgs of the comic. Fun, maybe silly, to draw emulating that style.

I'm interested in other ways like this stylization to capture something akin to photographic focus in ink rendered comic pages. How do y'all do it?

I love this before vs after things!

These self-portraits are 6 years apart. Back then I wasn't into digital art for real but into colored pencils. I think I improved a lot with colours, shapes and stylization, but most of all, I'm glad I got rid of the lineart. 💜
