Remembered I could make grayscale drawings and then color them with nodes, had to do a bit of finagling with gradient texture nodes to split up mouth/eye/brow colors but got it workin, and of course some vertex shading:3

if there's one thing i can understand with that argument, it's the environmental design

the original crash games were very rich with texture, everything looked rough and gritty, while crash 4 has a lighter, more whimsical look with heavier use of solid colours

Verdict: I really like it! It reminds me of Donny Don't from "TheInkyWay's Clip Studio Paint Brush Pack 2" so if you like the way it behaves then this would also be another option. The line buildup will never be as clean in as non textured brush but it hides very well in small.
