Happy Easter!

This 1905 card is in the Brown Family Papers in the Museum's Collection. The Brown Family donated the historic home and kitchen that the Museum uses to interpret what life was like on a farmstead in the early 1900s.

Trying out some new assets and combining them with some existing ones. Feeling a bit more wild compared to the usual farmsteads and villages.

In Swiss folklore, Jack o' the bowl is a helpful house spirit, often found at farms. In return for a bowl of sweet cream left out for him each night, he would lead cows to graze in places considered dangerous to humans, but none of the cows ever suffered injury.#FolkloreThursday

Hamurhets consume farms and forests undetected, thanks to reflective skin and thin, light footprints, the only signs of their arrival. Their strange head hides a multitude of strong tongues, which grip and tear plant matter once cut by their scythe-like claws.

Mimic's Gift [trinket][uncommon]
Fancy chests used to be the most sought after item by discerning dungeon divers. However, with the rise of mimic farms, the most a treasure chest can hope for these days is to be used as the container for a particularly exciting birthday gift.
