Sttangely, Eggman's Puyo sprites have various minor changes from their source render, mostly perspective differences. The third sprite shown appears to be a mix of two renders at once.

Unless if I am mistaken, the last sprite here is entirely original with no source render.

065: Sometimes when Question Duck was running really late, I'd try to be clever and think up an easy composition to render. So I would lean towards big shapes and using angles that don't show a lot of detail. So walls of color, or in this case sky and water were quick and "easy."
