I had an image about a live action TMNT movie with cartoony, stylized designs taken from the 80's cartoon done in the way of Sponge On The Run. Little realism weighing it down.

All taking place in a stylized 1980s New York City.

Directed by "Kung Fury" director David Sandberg.

Why is it a bummer? This is going to be one of these movies that does a different approach to the "live action/cgi hybrid" type of film.

They're taking a Roger Rabbit, Space Jam, etc approach here.

So it's stylized CG with hand drawn elements to look like "vintage 2D".
