Yes!! These sprites have always been an interesting case, along with the other known beta SMB1 Sprites;
A little while back I also came across these sprites, and also did some recreations of other beta Mario sprites from footage and photos ^^
(also a few from the FDS Kiosk)

actually while we’re on the subject of beat, i still find it funny that there’s that one sprite from w3d7 of final remix which shows him with a ring on his right hand, but none of his other sprites have the ring. it’s like ps4 bbs opening ventus all over again lmao

A rare 100% achievement for Monster Sanctuary. Loved their Monster Journal with more detailed sprites, a nice little bio, and history to go with each monster. This game blends metroidvania with 3v3 turn based combat all wrapped in a monster-taming/collecting experience!
