Probably shouldn't post art before I'm happy with the results. I'm good now. Pre-stretched for 4:3 display, new hair details and clouds added.

I find it necessary to read these novels as it explains the creation of the anti-BETA tactics, the implementation of the very first TSFs and the doctrine of their use, the creation of communication methods in heavy metal clouds, and TSF improvements similar to Takeru's in MLA.

This a bit more "period correct" in terms of how clouds and fog were done for these kinds of games, and the combination of both using dithering always made me worry about overdoing it. At some point dithering becomes noise across the entire screen, and TCA was riding that line.

What are thoughts on removing the dithering from the clouds and fog?

In a hypothetical hardware accelerated version of the game, this is probably what clouds would look like 😂

Is anyone else also having a very sleepy 2022? My resolution to get up early every day is already kaput
