i did different compositions, at first i was going for a horizontal mood scene but mint wanted the piece to be vertical, so i had them be in the middle of the room with a big frame at the back but it feels empty so i settled with the current one

Finally, here are the composition drafts I did before moving to the final designs. With the assignment requiring a 70% Digital and 30% Traditional feel, I colored in my characters by scanning in watercolor samples I did in my sketchbook.

I forgot to record a beginning of Halloween YCH where I searched for composition and pose. Sadly, I'm drawing a fresh scetch now. Should I start recording now or there's no point, since it's not from the very beginning?

@art_of_AD @pisqcurio one of the ways i check my composition and lighting is to use the threshold filter in photoshop to simplify my piece into shapes. a piece with strong shapes will read at the simplest level.
