I feel like my style is still evolving, but I was definitely inspired by anime & the Rankin-Bass animated films from the 80s (technically still anime, lol). But the body types of my characters are less stylized & more realistic, with the exception of my chibi art.

The Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee games have the best art direction out of any Pokémon game. I honestly wish they'd stuck with this look & feel for the mainline games. The overworld Pokémon also just fit better into this stylized world then they do in Sword & Shield. https://t.co/jgt9XHPSVC

I remember when it came out Spectacular Spider-Man got a bit of flack for it's more limited, stylized look. It ended up helping the show a lot in the end because that style was perfect for animation and lead to some of the best fight scenes in any Marvel animated production.
