@17thCenturyLady There's an exciting project to reconstruct the Lenox, a 70-gun third rater built in 1678 in Deptford. Can you imagine sailing in a full-size replica Restoration ship of the line?

Some abelisaurs I’ve done: Llukalkan (sketch), Pycnonemosaurus (sketch), Carnotaurus and Majungasaurus (zone of the reconstructions I did for Nat Geo Magazine Oct 2020 issue) #SciArtTweetStorm #sciart #paleoart
Final reconstruction of Homalacanthus concinnus. Big thank you to @Friedman_Lab for providing nearly all the information and consulting about this early filter feeding acanthodian. Both model variants are 1:1 and about 11" long.

Tyrannosaurus reconstruction! With a few extra sparkles for the vibe. #paleoart
(in a voice) hey. want some resources?
here's the beta kid rooms. dave and rose are reconstructed from flash assets, jade's room has some gif compression, but it was the best i could find, and i redrew june's room a while ago since it's surprisingly hard to find as raw pngs.
@izykio When I read your description I remembered them, these two reconstructions were done by @/SerpenIllus, they are one of the best in my opinion
Don't usually partake in many hashtags, but this one seems fun! I love painting/reconstructing extinct life, especially mammals. #SciArtTweetStorm
oh shit #SciArtTweetStorm uuuuuhhhh I do scientific reconstructions of extinct animals and plants. Here are a small selection from 2021 so far.
Dromaeosaurids remain some of my favorite non-avian dinosaurs to reconstruct. So here you have some Dromaeosaurids for today’s #SciArtTweetStorm Utahraptor, Wulong, Deinonychus and Sinornithosaurus #sciart #paleoart
Someone said #SciArtTweetStorm? Well howdy, I like drawing animals. Since it's also #FossilFriday enjoy these reconstructed dead things.

As a boy I was amazed at the work of Alan Sorrell. His reconstruction of Dirleton was the first image of its kind I ever saw. So I copied his techinque of boxing views a section at a time. I used (8 pence) Postcard images in 1981 then scaled up to A3 size (Tantallon example)
Dirlot Castle, Caithness (Scotland) measurement layout sketch, based on Plan, original watercolour reconstruction suggestion (1999) & later Paint version. Keep built by Reginald Cheyne. Site also held by Gunn, Mackay and Sutherland families. #DirlotCastle #ScottishCastles
