I'll start w/ the main character: #alita. I tried to make it low poly and w/ different meshes to allow more flexibility. The topology is also made w/ animation in mind #modelling #3dmodeling #3dmodel #maya #autodesk
not too bad for maybe three hours total of work! the topology is garbage but the shape is nice, so far
i haven't been able to really get down to work this week at all since my office/bedroom is currently a toddler room, but i've been preparing to restructure some facial topology! you get a mouth, you get a mouth, everyone gets a mouth!

Still no good display setup for retopology in #b3d. I don't know what the Hidden Wire option helps with, it doesn't solve anything for me. Here are the two options I have:
She's done. Took a while but I like the result. Learnt a ton about proportions, anatomy, topology, skinning, rigging. I also added lip-synch (pic 3, an example of "aa"). Couldn't figure out how to do eye tracking nor blinking since VRC is a bit finicky. And I'm dumb owo💦
just kidding. like I could go to sleep while there's TOPOLOGY to do??????? almost done w modeling/texturing now!!!!
