Retopo'd the handsome boy and baked some normals. I feel like every time I figure something out I realise I have so much more to learn: better ways to use UVs, better sculpting practises, better ways to topo for animations, not to cage the pelvis into itself to bake bad normals..

At least I tried to retopo the mask, but I just gave up with the hair and did it with Instant Meshes, lol. Any actual 3D artist will probably pass out after seeing this topology

Finally done with the retopology. This is the first time I've done that completely with a sculpt, which for those interested lowered the poly count from 350k to less than 15k polygons ^^

After 2 weeks of being sick, I'm getting back on Chihiro.
Here is the low poly baked in substance (so glad to be out of the retopo/uvs zone XD), with polypaint.

I'm finally giving in and retopologizing my high-poly mesh. I've avoided retopo at all cost up to now (for some reason I just hate it) but I want to make my skeleton sculpts into models online, and you can't do one without the other. I think it's going to be a frustrating day...
Learning to sculpt, you can see from the far left that I got too excited and began detailing the upper torso. Might use this body for my models once I retopo them. Also ass.
