Wrapping up 2019 with a comparison!

The left was for an animation I made for college and the right I made this evening! Orka's not ordinarily a space bird, but revisiting the theme was pretty nostalgic for me! There will be more of him in the coming years, I imagine.

and here's some unfinished (except the last one) fan art from High Rollers and Rollplay- a couple of my favourite podcasts. I might revisit some of these in the new year and make them sparkly and finished~~

I started revisiting these ideas and characters to have free portfolio content but it became something I've really enjoyed creating and sharing with everyone. I'm so thankful to have found people who encourage this, you guys are great.

Thanks for the support in 2019, a year in which we got to revisit Gallowmere. I enjoyed hearing tales of all your childhood memories, 21 years ago.

Stay young at heart, dream big and be good to one another.

Last tweet from me until February 2020.

Be safe.

I started posting my work online in 2009. I feel I peaked in 2014-2016 but my inconsistent workflow left me burned out and I stagnated/regressed. I use a simpler art style now but I want to start doing studies again so I can revisit my old works and improve on it.

Here is another character that I haven't drawn since 2013. It's refreshing to revisit some of my old characters with new designs.

Tickets are bought! I get to see come May (just a weekend before they close) And I'm hekkin' stoked! I've been revisiting the old cartoon with fond nostalgia and my warm up sketch kind of took over.

“Y-you can read the book,” Carida says, “I’ll just sit here. I want to watch you read. That will be -- that will be our date.”

Revisit a trip to the library with Carida and Lexa with an episode of Celeste Academy written by !

Here's an oldie from 2016 🌸 I remember feeling uncertain about how to proceed, so I placed it in the back burner until I felt more confident in my painting abilities.

I'm really excited to revisit this one.

Decided to finish this one to use as a icon. Since its an icon and will be seen small, I forgo'd the shading, might revisit that later.
