Really cool detail I noticed: they've actually rigged Whip's...uh...whip to deform and change shape to match the smear frames from her original sprites. It really gives those lashes some snap! This was also present in her KOFXIV iteration as well.

Its that Sonic Satam game mockup thing but recreated using as base one of the walking sprites(second img) since the whole animations on that low quality video were inconsisent in style terms.

i wanted to reskin gf from the hypnos lullaby mod just to have this happen everytime i load up the game and have it crash
ive tried editing the .xml file, changing the names of the sprites in animate, changing the .json, still the same problem </3
