031: I’ve been quite on here the last week while I’ve been dealing with being injured and getting projects in. I’m away this week in Cornwall so I probably will still be a little quite till I’m back!

From the 2nd Branch: Gwales (Grassholm) is an island off the Pembrokeshire Coast & the site of Brân the Blessed & his companions’ 80yr feast. Brân’s severed head entertained the party so that no one wanted to leave, despite an open door just by, facing Cornwall.

This painting of was one of only 6 Seascapes he was ever to paint and represents his loneliness and mood of isolation at the time.
