It’s ok if something isn’t in your price range, but what we won’t do is disparage/ belittle someone’s work/rate.

Their rates are their rates
@mikelm_LBT @BenOakleyAuthor There are many price ranges for book cover art, and different designers/artists have different rates. Price varies depending on the quality of artwork, style of artwork, typography, design, licensing, etc. $1500-$3000+ isn’t unusual for highly detailed illustration.
It’s okay if you can’t afford someone’s rates for art and design, but don’t be this guy 🧡🙏✨
