Day 1 theme was WATER! Found this kind of tank as reference on Google. They're not for fishes of course, there were especially flowers and plants inside, but for the composition, I found it fits so right ^_^
The art I did for this digital book's front cover. I really like how it came out. I thank my Disgaea artbook for giving me ideas for "composition with colorful characters".

@rinkara Yeah orz and I don’t even think the quality/detail is bad, but the pose and angles are so weird
I think the Mr Affection ones are some of the worst because of how awkward the composition is, their limbs going out of frame and stuff

Okay here's how I use CSP models and try not to make it look stiff.
1: figure out the pose
2: find a composition I like and adjust the pose to fit it better/look more dynamic
3: Sketch quickly over top, not worrying about details
4: add details and ignore/change as needed.
I think I did the hw wrong b/c most of the other students did lil sequences (which… makes sense in a storyboard class), but the teacher said these were still good composition studies, more like keyframes than boards. I’ll take it!
