Exorcist II: The Heretic is the lackluster studio cash-grab that almost derailed the franchise. Directed by John Boorman and written by William Goodhart, the film failed to deliver the scares that the original is well known for.

Saw two wonderful yet completely opposite films today xD

Violent Night was a freaking bloody and jolly blast from start to finish, and was so much fun to watch!

And the Quintuplets Movie was a very heartwarming film. And I’d say I’m def happy with how it ended off the anime ❤️

We’re currently seeing a small but welcome boom in indie kaiju films, produced on humble budgets by filmmakers with a deep passion for keeping the genre alive.

Pictured here are 3Y Films’ HOSHI 35, Takeshi Yagi’s AKARI, JIRAI DAIKAIJU IVARA, and Studio Mujaku’s MIDNIGHT THE ERA.
