Oddly enough I think about Majora's Mask the same way I think about Metroid Prime 2!

I think it's cool that Metroids were actually inspired by Xenomorphs from Ridley Scotts' Alien series.

In fact, the entire series was actually inspired by the Alien series. Even Samus herself is based off of Ripley from Aliens.

In case anyone doubts about the Chozo's physical appearance: Old Bird appears in several ending of the japanese version of Metroid Fusion, and he has the exact same appearance from the manga

He also appears briefly in Zero Mission
