Realising now I never shared this, I hosted a little writing competition for in my Guild to paint something for the winner. This was it! It was a nice greyscale practice.

Not satisfied with the hair outcome. So, spending 1.5 hours after Asar repaint the hair in greyscale and then overlay it with red colour.

Guess it is looks way better now. Haha..

Another practice today.
Was trying to paint something in greyscales and then colour it with gradient maps.
Quite tricky to get the colours right that way tbh
But that's what experiemnts are for, figuring stuff out.

i did a different thing for this one though: painted in greyscale first, then threw on a gradient map and a bunch of adjustment layers, then painted on top of that with color
