Tried to make a baby version of 's Hoverboots in an attempt to learn this.. "Jump Paint" program.

Tried Krita, didn't work out too well.

Plus suffering an art depression over the fact this program has no pathing options.

We're gonna do a mock up. In theory, we'd make a bunch of chibi sprite pencil tests in Krita, print them out, ink 'em, and then scan 'em back in, but we are going to draw our test guy 100% digitally for now.

found my kritanta fanart from back in uhhhhhhhh 2019 and tried to use some multiply layers to make the skin & eyes more accurate to his current design (the only sai file i had had all the hair/skin/etc layers merged lmao)
