I love me some rogue-inspired games, and one with twinstick shooter, bullet hell and rpg mechanics is a match made in heaven. Runs are very luck-based even for the genre, but I think that only makes it more addictive, sometimes frustrating.

The distinct bevel around his upper legs also adds a ton. It recalls both old and newer versions of super robots like Tetsujin 28 (aka Gigantor) and Mazinger. Emphasizes his mechanical nature without undermining the core design.
