is where I post a comic panel (or two) each week, that says something, but I give no commentary on it. You can do so, though.

From Incredible Hulk circa 1982, by Mantlo and Buscema.

Captain America, # 229.

I remember buying this issue off the spinner rack, and I thought that Texas Twister was a cool looking character with cool powers. I liked how Sal Buscema drew him, and the rest of the characters in the issue.

When I was in high school, my buddies and I had an ongoing debate as to who was better: Frazetta or Vallejo.

We also debated who was the best comics artist from a list of over a dozen greats: Adams, Buscema, Miller, Romita, etc.

Now do kids debate about Nightcafe and Starry AI?

Everything AMAZING about Conan, My buddy the late Ernie Chan just captured with his pencils. Todays redention of Conan is just Hollow and neutered compared to the BARBARIAN that was when Ernie Chan, John Buscema, Barry windsor smith and Gil Kane Drew the Cimmerian

In honor of the GIANT Frank Frazetta on his birthday...a few doodles from the vault from the vault.

Along with John Buscema, Mr. Frazetta created the best Conan. Certainly inspired my take on the barbarian...

Hell, he created a lot of the best of everything.

Cheers!

I know I’ve said this before but my favorite Superman artist might be the great John Buscema, who drew both a great Supes and Clark. Broody but somehow still Superman.

If he’d drawn more, it would have changed how people perceive the character forever.
